Artie Romero currently serves as President of CityStar Group, Inc. Originally established as a sole proprietorship by Romero in December, 1994, CityStar® registered the citystar.com domain and began building the website that would become the National Website Directory in December, 1996. CityStar® Group, Inc., a Colorado corporation, was registered with Colorado's Secretary of State by Artie and Sherry Romero in 1999.

Romero has been involved in the creation of comic books and animation since the 1970s, and has screen credits for animation on four motion pictures, two TV series and one PBS special. Before entering the animation industry in the early 1980s as an animator, producer and director, Romero was a comic book artist, editor and publisher, and a book and magazine illustrator.

After starting out in 1995 as just a few pages on Romero's personal web space, the artie.com website was launched in July, 1996, and quickly became one of the most popular animation sites on the Web. The ARG! website recorded a total of one billion hits in a 20-month period in 2005-2006, and continues to get up to 70 million hits a month. ARG! Cartoon Animation studio has created over 40,000 original digital animations, and more than 15,000 of them are displayed on the studio's website. ARG! animation is available worldwide for download to cell phones through AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile and many other carriers as a result of Romero's representation by Wireless Developer Agency. The ARG! studio has worked with over 600 clients, and continues to produce a large volume of animated cartoons for TV, software and the Web each year.

Romero created the CityStar® brand in 1996, and up until 2008, continually expanded the company's services into website development, Web Hosting, Internet access (ISP), SEO and online advertising. In June, 2008, CityStar® sold their ISP, Web design and hosting businesses to Colorado Springs-based Data Link Systems, Inc., and no longer provides these types of services. CityStar® is totally focused on the development of the National Website Directory and its network of 300 City Directory Sites.

Artie Romero currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and serves as CityStar's President.
