Skyscraper Banner

A CityStar® Skyscraper Banner (120x600 pixels) is a large vertical banner ad shown in the client's chosen category and city, or in a selected category in all 300 City Directory Sites. The client selects a city and a category (for example, Real Estate) and their site will get a large skyscraper ad that will dominate the right side of every HTML page within their chosen category.

Skyscraper banners are displayed at the top of the right column on all pages within the selected category. These ads are large, prominent, and linked to the client's website. Animated GIFs, text, JPEGs, Flash (.SWF) and other rich media files are accepted, up to a maximum file size of 200K.

With this large, flexible format of advertisement, a client may include several images and/or animations, and link to several other pages inside their website. For this reason, this type of ad is considered by CityStar® Associates to be an excellent online marketing choice. The client may choose from 300 cities and 40 categories, and the company provides animated ad production at no charge. This type of ad is only available on CityStar® category pages.

Please note: These ads will never appear on dynamically generated pages, i.e. URLs ending in the filename "search.cgi." They are only shown on "hard coded" HTML pages within CityStar® directory sites. Additionally, skyscraper banners are not offered on CityStar® home pages or any page which does not show at least 2 listings.
